Final Project

My hometown
I thought my hometown is a small town but it was the first place that I lean how to live. I’m accustomed and loved this place very much. This place has many things full in my memory. I’m very happy to stay at my hometown.

My province named Samutsakhon. It is very near Bangkok. The Tajeen river runs through my province. Samutsakhon has 3 districts include Mueang, Krathumban and Banphaeo. The provincial slogan is Fishing City, Factory Town, Agricultural Ground, Historic Site.Fishing city refer to Mueang district because many people in this district career sea fishery. Factory town refer to Krathumban district because this area has many factories. Agricultural ground refer to Banphaeo district because many people in this district is farmer and it has many rice fields, flower and fruit gardens. The last, historic site allude history of Phanthai Norasing who is honest man. Some of our famous tourist attractions include Phanthai Norasing Shrine (ศาลพันท้ายนรสิงห์), Saphan Pla (สะพานปลา), Plong Liam (ปล่องเหลี่ยม), Pom Wichian Chodok (ป้อมวิเชียรโชฎก) etc.

I live in Banphaeo district which is in Samutsakhon province. The Dunneansaduk canal runs through my district. The most famous temple in our district is called Wat Lak si. This temple is on the west bank of Duneansaduk canal. I likes visit this temple every year because this place have Banphaeo Agriculture Fair. It is a fair to promote the agricultural produce of the farmers in Banphaeo district.

I live in a small wooden house on Soi Rangpakluey. The area where I live is called Tonsai. Our house is small but we have a big garden. My mother really likes to implant flowers and trees so we have many flowers and trees such as orchids, roses, jasmines, mango trees, banana trees, coconut trees and guava trees etc. There are two floors. On the ground floor we have a livingroom, dining room, bedroom and kitchen. On the 2nd floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. I sleep on the 2nd floor. In my bedroom, we have a tv and radio. I also have a bookcase with many cartoon books on the shelves. We don’t have air-conditioning so it is sometimes hot at night.

I usually go to my hometown when I don’t have class. I really love to stay at there. I loves everyone in my family who live with me at my home. I think nowhere to stay make me feel happy more than my hometown.

 

My recommend pub

123 Entertainment is a famous pub at Nakhon Pathom province. I know travelling at night is not good for girl but I want to go at there. I have opportunity to lean many things.

That day was first time to went pub for me.  I’m very excited. I’m 21 years old so I could enter at pub. Inside, many people look happily when they drank alcohols, smoke and dance. Music was opened very loud by DJ. I knew this place not good for me or everyone.  And I knew limit of travel for me.  I don’t  have an affect on my grade when I traveled at pub.

Although I rarely traveled at night but I lean many thing in one night. 123 Entertainment Pub is one place in my memory.

My impressive shop

Srisuwan-Pochana food shop located at the bank of Dumneansaduk canal in Banphaeo district, Samutsakhon province. My home located at there like this shop. Srisuwan-Pochana sells Thai food, Japanese food, and seafood. The foods very delicious which guarantee by many prize.

This food shop have many menu for choose such as Kung-chao-wang (กุ้งชาววัง), Kung-chae-numpla (กุ้งแช่น้ำปลา), Tord-man-pla-kray (ทอดมันปลากราย), Pla-kra-bok-tom-som (ปลากระบอกต้มส้ม), Pla-duk-ta-le-pud-cha (ปลาดุกทะเลผัดฉ่า), Icecream-Krati (ไอสกรีมกระทิ) etc. I really love Icecream-Krati because it very sweet, good smell and delicious.

This shop has a good view. You can see way of life of people at the edge bank of Dumneansaduk canal. When you visit at Banphaeo district, you don’t miss eat at Srisuwan-Pochana food shop.

Valentine’s Day

Everyone knows Valentine’s Day is a day of love. It is 14 February in every year. Many people show love to someone by send chocolates, send card or send roses etc. My activity in Valentine’s Day was good memory for me but the day after this day was bad memory for me too. I don’t forgot something make me felt happy and sad.

On 14 February in this year, I woke up with the face that full of smiling. I said “Happy Valentine’s Day” to everyone that I knew. I sent SMS to my friends. I don’t forgot tell my parents that I loved them very much. In evening, I received M2G (service about send music through mobile phone) from my boyfriend. He sent Ruk Tuk Ru Doo song to me. I’m felt very happy and I sent voice message to him. I thought it was good word and it was word from my heart.

After that about a few day, I leaved him because he lied something to me. I considered the good thing that him make to me. I’m very sad.

Valentine’s Day is a day of love. Although I don’t liaise my boyfriend but I still showed word of love to another one who loved me.

My favorite food

If you ask me about my favorite food, the first thing that I think is Thai Grilled Squid [Pla-meuk yang]. I really like to eat it with seafood sauce. In fact, I can’t eat another seafood but squid is only one that I can eat. Thai Grilled Squid is food that easy to make. I will explain how to make Thai Grilled Squid.

 Ingredients:

•   Fresh squid
•   Butter
•   Fresh lime juice

Seafood Sauce Ingredients: 

•   Minced garlic
•   Crushed chilies
•   Sugar
•   Fresh lime juice
•   Salt

Preparations

1. Wash squids in clean water. Marinate clean squids with butter and lime juice for 30 minutes.

2. Prepare the seafood sauce by adding all seafood sauce ingredients together. Stir until mixed.

3. After marinating, grill squids over charcoal at medium heat until cooked thoroughly.

4. Slice the cooked squids into well pieces. Serve with seafood sauce and fresh vegetables.

My favorite place

Sometime, people need to take a break from busy day. Where would you go? Of course, the first place that I think is Laksi temple. Laksi temple is located at Banphaeo district, Samutsakhon province. Laksi temple is far from my home about 4 kilometers therefor I often spends time at this place. Laksi temple has an important shrine. Inside of the shrine which setting at edge of Dumneansaduk canal is a Buddha image named Luang Por To.

Many people visit to Laksi temple to pay homage to the sacred Buddha image. Every year, Buddhists will go in procession by boat in Dumneansaduk canal and by car. Before that day, they will bring many fruits in their farm give to Luang Por To. They believe the fruits become special drug when they eat it.

I like calm, relaxing and peaceful place. I like visit at Laksi temple. When you go to Banphaeo, you shouldn’t miss visit at Laksi temple.

Charactors of Up movie

Up is an animation movie and Thai name of this movie is Poo-Sa-Ba-Palang. The film centers on old man name Carl Fredricksen and a boy scout name Russell who fly to South America in a house by helium balloons. They fight danger with animals such as Kavin and Dug. Of  course, today I will explain the charactors of them.

Carl Fredricksen is 78-year-old man. He has a square face with square black grasses. His hero is adventure Charles Muntz. He meets Ellie at old house when he was young. Then, she becomes his wife. Ellie loves adventure like Carl and he promise to help her move house to Paradise fall in South America. He is a sad man when his wife died and he wants move house to Paradise fall. 

Russel is 8-year-old. He is a young boy scout, fat boy. He wears boy scout uniform. In the Up movie, Russel is outgoing, very talkative and enthusiastic. He wants to be a rover (kind of boy scout) so he must help an old man. 

Kavin is a bird which  Charles Muntz has searching for years.  Kevin is a 13-foot-tall, colorful bird. Russell named this bird. She is a female who wants to protect her three babies. She loves chocolate very much.

Dug is a Golden Retriver dog. He really loves squirrels. In this movie, he talks all the time through his special collar. Dug is a pet of Charles Muntz. He sends him to find strange bird (Kavin) but Dug helps Fredricksen, Russel and Kavin escape chase of Muntz.

There are interesting charactors of Up movie. You will learns about relationship of 4 character that I expained when you watchs this movie. I hope you likes Up movie same me.
